BOOK NERD : Kickass Quotes From Sacred Contracts - Awakening Your Divine Potential by Caroline Myss
This is not a book that you read once and are done with. It's one that you work with and read multiple times. At least that's been my experience of it.
Caroline Myss (pronounced "mace") is the person who first helped me to understand archetypes in a way that had personal value for me- in a way that oriented me to my own psycho-spiritual coordinates and allowed me to proceed from there in having a hand in the creation of my own destiny.
She was also the spiritual teacher to one of my all time favorite spiritual teachers, Robert Ohotto, who has taken the idea of a Sacred Contract, expanded upon it & made it his own (Soul Contract). Their work combined is powerful stuff.
And this book, Sacred Contracts : Awakening Your Divine Potential, makes for an excellent starting point. I will warn you by saying that this is not a light read and understanding it requires your active participation, but- if you're willing to go there- it could be a complete game changer.
